glass breaking party

start gathering up dead lightbulbs, mirrors, glassware, china, you name it. if it shatters when dropped, put it aside because this one's gonna be a doozy.

chalk it up to "shit happens"

or changing the cd instead of watching the ice (damn you twilight soundtrack). a jetta can not pull an exploder out of the ditch.. as i found out the hard way. i also gangked up my engine reversing in 4x4 low. now the check engine light is on AND i need a new battery.
oh the joys of vehicle ownership.

like a lion

Silent, golden light pervades the room through cracks, curtains, stained glass. The tiny child in his mother's arms, so alike they were, with utmost tenderness stirred in the dappled dawning of the day. In perfect contemplation he rejoiced. His lucky love, his life and kin created cradling here entranced within. The pale forms entwined before him, beauty and her son, he rises mindful of their rest, and pauses in his purpose, respectful of the holy sight there beneath the homemade quilt and eiderdown.

wakeful... In the garden standing three, birds shrill in cacophany at the approach of day. oh, maddening dew! as if subconsious, placed the infant in his arms, stepping barefoot east toward brightening sky 'gainst blackly hewn horizon's glow; she hastens towards the ripe'ning rows of corn, and hand within concealing folds of pearly yarn, a shadow dark as thunder drawn, no regret, no hesitation. reaching towards her desperate he calls... she; steady, slight, eyes skyward stood, and pulled the blacken'd metal crescent to her palm.

shattered sunlight blinding rose to splitting silence... two collapse, convulse and clutch, and scream to rue the ringing air... she gleaming falls. Startled crows rise sudden like blood spattered black and torn, braying hideously into the brilliance of the morning sky.

starting at the beginning of the middle

the world is always a little uglier when you admit to yourself your own part in making it that way for yourself. even if you could never in a million years admit it to anybody else. but when you make it sound like its all somebody else's fault, nobody believes you and inevitably think the worst anyway... point is. you make a small mistake, or were too messed up to remember, and so was everybody else... how do you ever know what really happened? its really important to know when the consequences of the sum of these moments destroy lives, but you can never truly know. i wonder if it all comes flashing back right before you die?
